New Search Calendar for Recreational Sporting Events
RaceDates launches new web service

Ridgefield, NJ - Racedates announces "Phase 1" of a new web site offering a FREE service to athletes, race directors and event promoters. This new service, which can be found at www.kqb.com/racedates/, provides detailed event information such as date, location, entry fee, course description, contact, awards, course records and more. Events that can be searched at the site include running, road bike, mountain bike, swimming, and multi-sport events. Vito Bialla, owner Zoot Hawaii Sportswear says,"Fantastic site!" Visitors to the site will find a simple to use "Search Calendar", developed expressly for this function, which allows them to select the date, location, type of event, and distance they wish to compete in. This query capability is easily adaptable and the company plans to add additional events such as skiing, snowboarding, and a host of others in the coming months. "What ever your event, find it here and find it fast!" says Scott Langan co-founder of the site.
Wayne Langan, also a co-founder says, "There’s lots of places to get race names, few if any provide a good search capability and detailed results." The search is broken down into two steps. The first step provides a list of event names, dates and locations. The user then selects the "Details" button for the event they are interested in to obtain expanded information such as the entry fee, start time, course description, course record, awards and contact information.
"Phase 2" of the site, which is more of an ongoing roll-out, will offer features such as race comments, interactive maps, and a fully searchable club directory. Other major features are also being planned. Watch the site www.kqb.com/racedates/ for details.
